“I love working in an office where people from around the world come for assistance navigating our immigration legal system.”

John is the Managing Partner of Hogan & Vandenberg. With over 15 years of experience, he started this journey way before opening the Philadelphia office. His first trip abroad was during a mission in the Navy, where he had the opportunity of meeting people from all over the world and shape his perception of what immigration means. Back in the U.S., he decided to pursue International Law, but was working in a summer job at the Villanova Clinic for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services, where he decided to pursue his career in immigration law. John has experience with all aspects of immigration, from deportation defense to employment-based visas, and speaks Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian, Portuguese, and understands Arabic and Spanish.
